RF Perception

RF Perception provides short range, personal RF sensors and radar solutions. These can be used in applications including smart buildings, construction and military.
Our solution integrates the RF paths, with AI processing and a microcontroller to provide a low power solution with meshing capabilities and sufficient processing for simple integration into cloud based solutions.

Team

Julian Jenkins

Julian Jenkins is cofounder and CEO of RF Perception.
Julian has extensive experience in designing RF and Analog ICs and managing startups. Before joining RF Perception, Julian was involved in two successful startups (Perceptia Devices and HiBand Semiconductor) and has also worked for larger companies.
Julian also leads the sales team at RF Perception. 

Tim Robins

Tim Robins is the COO of RF Perception. He as been a chip design technical leader and manager in the global semiconductor industry for over 25 years. He has been a part of multiple successful startups (HiBand Semiconductor and Perceptia Devices Inc) and has held positions as Principal Designer and Director of Design for multi-billion dollar companies such as IDT and Cypress Semiconductor in Silicon Valley, CA. He has a broad background in silicon design, silicon packaging and systems integration with a focus being in high speed digital logic and mixed signal systems primarily for SerDes and PLL IP.

Stephen Allott

Stephen Allott is the CTO of RF Perception and serves on its board of directors. He has been active in the design community for over 25 years. His background covers wireless transceiver design, including cellular, Bluetooth, GPS and more recently Radar. Prior to joining RF Perception, Stephen had held Principal RF system and design positions at companies such as Renesas, GlobalFoundries, Microchip, Mediatech and Qorvo. Stephen earned an Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Huddersfield University.
